Gross Floor Area should include all space within the building(s) including offices, conference rooms and auditoriums, kitchens used by staff, lobbies, fitness areas for staff, storage areas, stairways and elevator shafts.
We will also need energy utility billing data for at least 12 consecutive months. (The best way for us to get this is for you to give us access to your online account with your local utility. Next best is for you to provide us with a spreadsheet with the data, including: Month; kWh used; electric dollars; therms used; gas dollars. If more than one electric or gas meter, then include data for each meter. If using propane, oil, or another fuel, include the estimated monthly use.)
We will register you for a login in the Energy Star Portfolio Manager site with your new gmail account user name, set a temporary password that you can change later for your own updates and security. Later, we can help you easily forward emails from this account to your preferred email.
