On August 23, 2012 at NASA Ames, Mountain View, CA, Sustainable Silicon Valley org led by Marianna Grossman, Executive Director, launched the Planetary Solution Showcase.
The special evening spotlighted a new collaborative initiative between
Sustainable Silicon Valley and NASA Ames Research Center,
launching the "Call for Solutions" that will identify top breakthrough
solutions that can have global impact.
Inspiring speakers and Space Act Agreement signing were highlights of the evening.
Over 200 attendees discovered game-changing solutions from NASA and
others that can scale to have impact for planetary sustainability.
A Tour was provided of the LEED Platinum Sustainability Base facility at NASA.
Solution providers, implementers, financiers, researchers
and elected leaders were present enjoying fine food and wine at this elegant and educational event.
This launch will culminate with winner announcements and presentations at the SSV Summit on May 23, 2013.
